TESTIMONIALS

I've spent several days in this wind tunnel doing 5 different vehicles... it's been a Very interesting and always challenging experience.  While intimidating up front the folks at A2 simple make the process a joy and an incredible learning experience.

Math has never been my thing... while okay at it... I'd rather be wrenching on a Car...  the Folks working the Tunnel explained everything in a words and numbers that even I could understand and relate to...  Simply stated they took real world changes we made on the cars and turned it into usable data for the race track.

1951 Crosley running in J/GT before A2 Tunnel was 88.362 mph. First completed run after A2 was 100.946.  Thank you David Salazar, and A2 for all your professional and courteous help, we will be back.

For serious race teams there are no real shortcuts to victory. That being said, for those of us who pursue top speeds at venues like the iconic Bonneville Salt Flats, time spent in the wind tunnel comes awfully close to being exactly that!

In less than a day in the A2 Wind Tunnel we learned more about drag reduction on our Land Speed Racing bikes than could have been learned in a season of high speed passes at the drag strip, the salt flats, or elsewhere.  As with engine testing on a dyno, all the questions about wind, air density, and those other “hard to control” variables went out the window. The data we collected was precise, repeatable, and presented in an easy to understand format. The still photos and video that were provided were excellent supplements to the hard data. Better yet, we didn’t use up any of our “stuff” – fuel, tires, engine life!

Not that I want to make it any easier for our competitors, but if they are engaged in competition where top speeds and high speed stability matter (Isn’t that everyone?) then they are missing a huge opportunity if they are not spending some time in a wind tunnel like A2
